In March 2025, the Shanghai Representative Office of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) obtained the representative office registration certificate issued by the Foreign NGO Management Office of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau and settled in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai. This marks the official landing of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) in China, opening a new chapter in the in-depth exchange and cooperation between China and the international pharmaceutical engineering field.
The establishment of ISPE’s Shanghai representative office is an important milestone in the internationalization of China’s pharmaceutical engineering sector. It has not only laid a solid foundation for ISPE’s development in China, but also injected a strong impetus into the internationalization, scientific and modernization of China’s pharmaceutical industry. This symbolizes China’s growing influence in the global pharmaceutical engineering field, and also shows China’s positive attitude in promoting the cooperation and development of the global pharmaceutical industry.
ISPE would like to express its heartfelt thanks to the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Foreign NGO Management Office of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau. The careful guidance and strong support of leaders at all levels of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission provided a full range of policy guarantees and professional suggestions for the preparation and establishment of ISPE Shanghai Representative Office. The efficient examination and approval and strict supervision of the Municipal Public Security Bureau ensured the standardization and legitimacy of the registration of the representative office. The smooth establishment of ISPE Shanghai Representative Office is inseparable from the careful care and strong support of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Municipal Public Security Bureau, which reflects the open attitude and positive encouragement of the Chinese government to international science and technology cooperation, and also highlights the strong attraction of Shanghai as an international metropolis in attracting global science and technology resources.
